New edition, new name: the Open Sud de France becomes the Open Occitanie while retaining its charm. This 15th edition promises to be thrilling, and we count on you to make it unforgettable.
The main draw took place this Saturday at the Lexus dealership, one of the tournament’s main partners. The ceremony was hosted by Sébastien Grosjean, tournament director, Jean-Marie Farges, Lexus brand director of the Maurin Group, Patrice Canayer, representative of the Occitanie region, and Éric Largeron, vice-president of the FFT. Additionally, Richard Gasquet, three-time winner in 2013, 2015, 2016, and Lucas Pouille, winner in 2018, graced us with their presence during the draw.
The draw lived up to its promises, with particularly enticing matchups. Three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka will face local player Arthur Cazaux in his first match on the Patrice Dominguez center court this Monday evening. The draw also features an all-French duel between Adrian Mannarino and Richard Gasquet, who, in his fourteenth and final tournament appearance, will be eager to shine one last time on home soil and move closer to a fourth title.
Starting Sunday at 10 am, don’t miss the start of the qualifiers, which will kick off a week filled with emotions and exceptional performances.
